CHHA-BC’s “The Way We Hear It!” Exhibition

In May 2024, Advanced Listening Systems was proud to be involved with the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association of British Columbia’s ‘The Way We Hear It!’ exhibition in Maple Ridge, BC.

The exhibition not only educated the public but also fostered a supportive community for sharing experiences and learning. The event featured interactive displays that provided a deeper understanding of hearing loss as well as showcased available assistive listening technologies such as Induction Hearing Loops and Adaptive Soundfield systems.

By emphasizing accessibility, Advanced Listening was able to demonstrate and explain to attendees how assistive listening technology is transforming inclusion for individuals with hearing impairments.

‘The Way We Hear It!’ exhibition emphasized the need for environments where individuals with hearing loss can thrive and underscored the importance of hearing health, community support, empathy and innovation in building a more inclusive future.
